According to the report from South Korean "Sports Chosun" on October 16th, 2017 prolonged use of computers and mobile phones by modern people can easily damage the eyes. Once the eyes are injured, it is difficult for them to recover naturally. Different age groups have different methods of protecting their eyes, so extra attention is needed.

Adolescents in their growth period should not lie down while reading

During the growth period, the visual development of adolescents is not complete, so they should not read while lying down. Reading while lying down puts three times the pressure on the eye muscles and easily leads to visual fatigue. When studying, the indoor environment should be well-lit, and it is advisable to turn on a desk lamp whenever possible. The area the eyes focus on should have consistent lighting with the surroundings. When using a desk lamp, to avoid obstructing the light, it is best to place the lamp on the left side. Adolescents with poor eyesight should wear glasses consistently. Additionally, they should consume foods rich in vitamin A, zinc, and other essential elements.

Young people aged 20-30 should reduce smartphone usage and maintain hygiene when using contact lenses.

Young people who frequently use computers and smartphones should pay more attention to eye protection. It is recommended to take breaks and rest the eyes or look at other objects to alleviate eye fatigue after using electronic devices for more than 50 minutes. It is also important to consciously blink your eyes to keep them moisturized. Maintaining indoor humidity between 40-60% using a humidifier or other methods is beneficial. If the indoor environment is too dry, the chances of developing dry eyes will increase. If you wear contact lenses, make sure to wash your hands before handling them, and after use, clean and store them properly.

Middle-aged individuals aged 40-60 should undergo an annual physical examination and quit smoking.

From the age of 40, the eyes start to age, and in order to prevent eye aging, it is crucial to quit smoking. Smoking is the main culprit that threatens eye health, and it is associated with two of the leading causes of blindness: glaucoma and macular degeneration. Additionally, it is important to avoid using smartphones in poorly lit areas and minimize prolonged periods of looking down. This helps reduce intraocular pressure and lowers the risk of developing glaucoma. Individuals over 50 with normal vision should also undergo an annual eye examination at the hospital to monitor their visual health.

Elderly individuals should get sufficient rest and include broccoli and egg yolks in their diet.

People aged 65 and above should ensure they get adequate sleep and avoid eye fatigue. According to the 2010-2012 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, individuals who sleep less than 5 hours have a 2.23 times higher risk of developing visual disorders compared to those who sleep for 7 hours or more. If experiencing blurred vision, it is recommended to visit a hospital for cataract examination. Around 70% of individuals aged 70 and above have cataracts. Therefore, it is advisable to consume foods rich in lutein, such as broccoli and egg yolks, to help reduce the production of reactive oxygen species that contribute to eye aging, thereby slowing down the aging process of the eyes.

It is worth noting that eye massagers, as eye care tools suitable for people of different age groups, have been increasingly well-received. For example, Pangao Eye Massager P7, the latest eye massager model introduced by Pangao. This innovative device has quickly gained popularity in the market due to its exceptional features and benefits. Designed to cater to the eye care needs of individuals of all ages, the P7 offers a comprehensive range of functions.

One of the key features of the P7 is its air pressure massage, which utilizes gentle air pressure to provide a soothing and invigorating massage experience for the eyes. This massage technique is designed to target specific acupoints around the eyes, promoting relaxation and relieving eye strain and fatigue.

In addition to the air pressure massage, the P7 also incorporates hot compress therapy. The gentle warmth generated by the device helps improve blood circulation around the eyes, reduces dryness, and provides a comforting sensation, further enhancing the overall relaxation and rejuvenation of the eyes.

To enhance the user's experience, the P7 is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect your smartphone or other devices and enjoy your favorite music or audio while enjoying the massage. This combination of soothing massage and pleasant music creates a truly immersive and relaxing experience.

The P7 offers a variety of massage modes that can be adjusted to meet individual preferences and needs. Whether you prefer a gentle massage or a more invigorating one, you can easily customize the massage intensity and pattern according to your liking.

Portability is another advantage of the P7, thanks to its 180° foldable design. This compact and foldable feature makes it incredibly convenient to carry the eye massager wherever you go, ensuring that you can enjoy its benefits anytime and anywhere.
